As an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with over 6 years in advanced practice and a solid 20-year foundation in nursing, I bring a wealth of expertise in patient care, particularly within the psychiatric realm. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Herzing University.

My professional journey has led me to work in diverse healthcare settings, including long-term care, insurance, hospice, medical-surgical units, emergency rooms, cardiac units, and mental health hospitals and clinics.

For the past 5 years, I have focused my clinical practice on treating psychiatric patients, finding a true passion in this field. This experience has deepened my commitment to helping individuals achieve optimal mental health outcomes through comprehensive assessment, personalized treatment plans, and compassionate care. I am furthering my expertise by pursuing certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) at Walden University.

My diverse clinical background, coupled with my dedication to providing holistic and effective psychiatric care, allows me to approach mental health treatment with both a broad and nuanced perspective. I am committed to the well-being of my patients, utilizing evidence-based approaches to improve their quality of life.

Outside of my professional endeavors, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and have a passion for singing in my leisure time. I am enthusiastic about continuing my journey in psychiatric care, combining my extensive nursing experience with my growing expertise in mental health.
